If anyone needs or wants take off race tires please speak up. I know several of our racers have takeoffs for sale and they are a great way to get yourself on excellent tires cheap.

Slicks? Prices? I read that slick are only good for 4 heat cycles till the juices that make them stick bake out of them. I know i've seen Jeff not use warmers. JUst wondering what any racers take is on this. Thanks

If your racing I would not use slick takeoffs. However, if your just using them for track days you will be fine. If you treat a slick right it will last a while, for trackdays. The key is to find a set that has the proper life left in it. Make sure you know where you are going to use the takeoff and then pick the set based on the amount of life left in the appropriate areas.

Are the takeoffs you're offering slicks?

using take offs really depends on what level rider you are and how hard you are intending to push...again depending on what level rider you are....My race rear slick usually last me around four races..thats about 28 laps, then it starts moving around quite abit, it still works fine if lets say I decide to not push as hard or to do a track day or even a practice, but when you are racing and every little bit counts it will just not do. You should always as well use warmers with slicks unless you want to cold tear the tire and go thru it alot sooner. I have had people tell me that they used one set of take off slicks for two or three track days...again this depends on how fast you are. How hard you are sliding the bike around the track, how hard you are accelerating out of the corners etc. So it is a personal question if take offs are right for you. I do use them for trackdays and the rear will usually last me half a day before there is nothing left of it, but it is fun sliding the bike around abit, it does teach you good throttle control, and so when you put a fresh set on sneakers on, man you are just ripping. So the total time the rear then will last if you want to break it down would be 28 laps race pace and the three sessions or say at a trackday and then that is it. The fronts are a whole other story, I just change them to change them, they seem to really hold up well, I usually never get any bad feedback from a front race slick, so I change one front for every two rears and the front still has a ton left on it. Hope this helps
