Well, you could not have asked for a nicer day. The weather was perfect and thanks to Heath (Topps Bakery) we had lots of goodies to eat. Sorry Jim and Mike but we ate your pies during a glorious sugar frenzy with the Ferrari guys. We tried to save them for you as long as we could.

Thursday was my first time at Thunderbolt and as usual NYSBC did a great job, thanks to Jeff, Phil, Mark, and co. I'm looking forward to Oct 12 now that I'm a little familiar with the track.

that was one sweet trackday. i was kind of mad cuz i didn't get there until 11am due to trailer throuble but even then i had a ton of riding and was able to help out some of our memebers clean there lines.

there was so much space in those groups that i had couple of the interm guys run a 1:35 :eek: they loved it!

However, I think I need to give credit where credit is due. I thought for most of the day that I was probably running the fastest times of the day. Then, low and behold, here comes Chris Christopher out on his sportbike. Man what a rush, we rode harder than we had all day and "by george" I could not pass him. At one point I made a bad shift and he gained about 100 feet on me and I could not get it back before the session was over. I think Chris would probably get the fastest lap honor. Dick...

well sorry i missed the day, i was planning on getting there and helping out then shooting down to v.i.r but that was not the case, we headed down to v.i.r and blew out a leaf spring on the trailer, so we had to repair before we go on our way...so it was not meant to be, but we will be down on the 12th, can't wait to have some fun on lightning, I haven't been there since the ccs race weekend, we did so well that weekend that i can't wait to get back there and zip around a bit.
